“SAVORIA” PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER PLANT

Funded through the Modernisation Fund under the State Aid Scheme supporting investments in new electricity generation capacities from renewable sources for the self-consumption of enterprises in the agricultural sector and the food industry.

The project implementation period is 21 months from the signing of the contract.

The general objective of the project is to support investments in generating electricity from renewable wind and solar sources for self-consumption by enterprises in the agricultural sector and the food industry, with the aim of increasing the share of renewable energy sources in the total energy mix and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, thereby contributing to Romania’s commitments under the Integrated National Energy and Climate Plan 2021–2030 (INECP), the European Green Deal, as well as the EU’s commitments to implement the Paris Agreement and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The project consists of the photovoltaic power plant “SAVORIA” located in Florești Village, Florești Commune, Prahova County, with an installed capacity of 0.26 MW.

Project indicators:

  1. Operational installed capacity for renewable energy generation: 0.26 MW
  2. Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions: 171.49 tons of CO2/year
  3. Average electricity production from renewable sources: 280.27 MWh/year
  4. Total electricity production from renewable sources for the reference period: 5,605.32 MWh
  5. Percentage of total renewable electricity production estimated to be used for self-consumption: 90.65%
  6. Plant capacity factor: 12.31%

The total eligible value of the Project is 763,057.62 lei, equivalent to 153,400 EUR, with a support intensity of up to 100%, of which non‑refundable financial support amounts to a maximum of 763,057.62 lei, equivalent to a maximum of 153,400 EUR.
